MINISTRIES & GROUPS
Explore opportunities to connect, grow,
and serve with our church community. ♪♬𝄞Music has been at the heart of our church’s worship from the very beginning. Our handbell choir is considered by many to be a local treasure — one of the few remaining in the region. If you’re in the neighborhood, we’d love for you to join us on Sunday.
Music & Worship
From traditional hymns to contemporary praise, our music is centered on lifting up the name of Jesus. Musical styles vary weekly—and we want you to be part of it! We have space for choir members, bell ringers, band enthusiasts, and soloists of all levels. Share your talent and help us make a joyful noise!
Prayer & Care
Driven by compassion, our Deacons and our pastor provide practical help and spiritual encouragement to our neighbors and church family. Through intimate prayer, home visits and a dedicated network of support, we strive to be a source of hope and presence in every circumstance. Whether in times of challenge or celebration, know that you don’t have to walk alone.
Missions
We support a variety of local and international missions, bringing the world to our doorstep and sending our people, prayers and resources out into the world. Some of our ministry partners include:
Antioch Partners • Correctional Institutions Chaplaincy • Family Supportive Housing, Inc. • PCUSA World Mission • Presybterian Disaster Assistance • Community Services Agency • Second Harvest of Silicon Valley
Hospitality & Volunteering
Our Sunday services are only made possible with the generous time and talents of our volunteers. From setup/teardown we have a wide range of needs where we can use your help! Do you have a specific trade, gift or talent that can bless FPCMV? Please share it with us — we are always looking for ways to improve and grow.
Bible Studies
Bible studies and small groups transform lives through community connection with Jesus—studying, sharing, laughing, praying, and supporting one another. Learn more about our current Bible Study Groups:
